Task Modeling at Operational Level in the Context of Model-based Design

Abstract
In the context of model-based design of user interfaces it is important to pay attention to the modelling of all relevant aspects as well as to the specification of relationships between models. The task model has a particular importance since it mediates the relationship between the domain model and the presentation model. The purpose of this paper is to approach task modeling at operational level from a broader perspective, defined by the activity theory and the reference model for multi-target user interfaces.
