Abstract
No Níger novecentista, o intelectual Boubou Hama trabalhava pela preservação e divulgação de um arcabouço cultural. A partir de um entendimento específico sobre “conhecimento tradicional”, buscou oferecer respostas em seu próprio tempo. Sob os impactos da colonização, Hama almejava que a África conhecesse seus próprios valores e concepções de mundo.
