Abstract

Biomassenergy accounts for 80 % of total energy consumed in Togo. But its potentialdecreases exponentially as a result of population growth and the fact that thetechniques of production and consumption are still archaic and climate change. The aim of this work is to contribute to the assessment of vulnerability andadaptation to climate change in the sub-sector of biomass energy in Togo by amodeling approach. Specifically, it is i) to study the evolution of thehousehold demand for fuelwood and ii ) to analyze the vulnerability to climatechange of sub-sector of biomass energy (mainly charcoal and firewood) in Togo.Demand scenarios of fuelwood were developed from the LEAP model. Thevulnerability analysis is made by coupling the demands and the potential of fuelwoodand by taking into account the parameters of climate change. At the end of thisstudy, it appears that the fuelwood demands evolve exponentially and that the sectoris vulnerable to future climate change. In addition, the potential of fuelwoodis very deficient compared to the demand for years to come and will beexhausted before the year 2025. The current energy and forestry policies arefar from fill this gap.

Abstract

Literary works of Iran are the mirror of ideas, artistry, and beliefs of people that have thrivingly and prosperously survived all risks and events from long ago. All Iran's literature, culture, and art is a manifestation of poetic and no poetic works of such famous writers and poets such as Firdausi, Manouchehri-e-Damghani, Khayyam, Aboureihan-e-Biroini, Sanaei, Attar, Rumi, Saadi, Hafiz, Saeb, Dehkhoda, Bahar, Nima Youshij, Sohrab-e-Sepehri,… who benefited from the culture of this country, created everlasting works with their own support of artistry, talent, and ability, and have left behind eternal and everlasting wealth. The profound and accurate study of these works, art from long ago and now, polishes up the soul and fertilizes the mind. Literature, a worthy and noble art, is shown beautifully when it combines with arts such as music, painting, calligraphy, and carving. Iranian music has always been along with poetry and singing. One of the manifestations of the poets and the authors influenced by musician is their use of elements which are directly or indirectly specific to the art of music. The poets and the authors have created imaginary poetic forms using these elements in their prose and poetry. Examples such as harp or lute, rah, rud, arghanun and reed and so one. In this article examples in the poems of the poets are discussed.

Abstract

Since old times, social philosophers have attempted to analyze the fundamental frameworks of society and relations of power by relying on intellectual foundations and rational reasoning. In this paradigm, issue of justice has been always central of attention, such that regulation of interrelations among individuals in society has been planned for the purpose of realizing social justice. Subject of justice is not merely a theoretical subject, but it is practical basically and it is integrated with concepts like equality, morality, law, equity and freedom. Concept of justice in its boarder terms, has an integral relation with all concepts and values which are respectable and good, in fact, we can say that justice is the first virtue, that means it is possible that in different intellectual systems in relation to desirability of freedom, equality or joy, there is doubt and limitation of freedom is defensible, but rarely anybody defends limitation of justice of injustice, in political philosophy, the final criterion of virtuous state is concept of justice and in law philosophy, the main purpose of judgement is providing justice. In this research, it is tried to deal with concept of justice in historical form in order to reach a clear conclusion from it in intellectual regimes of Liberalism and democracy social. But the main objective of this research is to compare two liberal theorists concerning their understanding of justice; one, john Rawls that believes justice amounts to equity and other, Robert Nozick. Both of these thinkers claim that their definition of justice is in text of Kant tradition, but we will see that they present two different interpretations.

Abstract

Due to the existence of subcultures, and ethnic and religious diversity of the characteristics of the community; This article is a follow - up study of factors amplifier (consensus -causing), and threatening (consensus debugger), social solidarity among peoples (Azeris, Kurds, Baluchis, Turkmen, Taleshies, Arabs, Lors), living in the land of Iran, show that the recognition of differences, and characteristics every nation in the world, as a basic principle, the intercultural relations between ethnic and even international, attention has been, and without regard to this important issue, social cohesion can not be achieved. Admittedly, the Iranian society is a multi-ethnic society, but social and ethnic boundaries, there are a lot of interference, and the local ethnic groups, around three symbols, language, religion and historical background, have sharing model. In addition, perceived discrimination and relative deprivation, and cynicism in society may have caused social and cultural alienation, and thus reduce social solidarity and social bonds are loosened. Therefore, the recognition of ethnic diversity, religious pluralism, and even, in this sense, so the Iranian society, strengthen the Iranian nation, from all ethnic groups, and ethnic groups, their know that the Iranian nation.

Abstract

In this research the biostratigraphy in Esfiyukh Mountain (5km of North-east of Torbat-e-Heydarieh) is studied for the first time. Thedeposits in this section are about 175 meters thickness; lithology consists ofalternative layers of medium bedded to very thick bedded limestone. This partoverlies on brown-dark red sandstone & Jurassic deposits with angularunconformity and is overlain by late Cretaceous sediments with unconformablecontact. The first study of benthic foraminifera and calcareous algaeidentification is the survey of paleoecology condition of benthic foraminifera, that 60 thin sections were studied. In this study ten genera and species ofcalcareous algae Salpingoporella cf. parapiriniae (Carras et al., 2006),Cylindroporella sp. (Elliot, 1979), Rajkella sp. (Dragastan & Bucur, 1993),Neomeris cretaceous (Stewmann, 1978), Triploporella sp. (SRIVASTAVA, 1978),(BUCUR, 1993), (Granier et al., 2000), Terquemella sp. (Radoicic, 1978),Boueina sp., Macroporella sp., Falsolikanella danilovae, (Radiocic ex1982), (Berger,1992)ag.,Actinoporellageredeensis, (CONRAD,1970), Salpingoporella aff. hasi, ,(Carras et al, 2006) has been known. With view to association ofbenthic foraminifera the age of the studied section Barremian t-Aptian isdetermined.

Abstract

Tillage affects the soil physical and chemical environment in which soil microorganisms live, thereby affecting their number, diversity and activity. Conservation tillage (CT) is practiced on 45 million ha world-wide, predominantly in North and South America but its uptake is also increasing in South Africa, Australia and other semi-arid areas of the world. It is primarily used as a means to protect soils from erosion and compaction, to conserve moisture and reduce production costs. In Europe, the area cultivated using minimum tillage is increasing primarily in an effort to reduce production costs, but also as a way of preventing soil erosion and retain soil moisture. Conservation tillage can improve soil structure and stability thereby facilitating better drainage and water holding capacity that reduces the extremes of waterlogging and drought. These improvements to soil structure also reduce the risk of runoff and pollution of surface waters with sediment, pesticides and nutrients. Reducing the intensity of soil cultivation lowers energy consumption and the emission of carbon dioxide, while carbon sequestration is raised though the increase in soil organic matter (SOM). Tillage-driven impacts on lumbricids and collembolans differed depending on soil texture, whereas those on nematodes and microbial communities varied depending on soil depth. Functional groups within certain taxa show differing tillage induced impacts. Linking several datasets on various indicator organisms clearly show that the decision on which tillage system should be applied must be taken for each individual case considering local soil characteristics.

Abstract

Sentence semantic similarity plays a crucial role in a variety of applications such as Machine Translation, Information Retrieval, Question Answering and Multi-document Summarization. Considering the variability of natural language expression, sentence semantic similarity detection is not a trivial task. This paper tries to make use of Natural Language Processing (NLP) as well as machine learning techniques in order to propose a scheme for sentence semantic similarity. In the first part of the proposed scheme, i.e., the NLP section, different sets of linguistic features including string-based, semantic-based, Named Entity-based and syntax-based features are extracted. In the second part, machine learning algorithms are used to construct classification models on the extracted set of features. Experimental results in the first part indicate that extracted features are valid for sentence semantic similarity. Moreover, by comparing the performance of different classification algorithms in the second part, KNN seems to be the most successful algorithm. Overall, experimental results indicate that the proposed approach can be used to improve the performance of sentence semantic similarity detection especially in terms of accuracy.

Abstract

Will means that a person recommends that after his death such and such things should be done, or such and such thing out of his property will be the property of such and such person, or will be spent for charitable purposes, or he appoints someone as guardian of his children, or of those who are under his guardianship. The person to whom a Will is made is called executor (Wasi). If a person, who cannot speak, makes himself understood by means of signs, he can make a Will for anything he likes and his Will is in order. Although in some verses of the revealed priscripts (Aiat al-Ahkam) on Will, God expressly permits it, some of them (such as verses 181 and 182 of Al-Baqara Chapter), and also different ideas in agreement and disagreement with them and other views which confirm and complement the mentioned verses, the Will is divided into two categories: 1) Wills; 2) void and invalid Wills. These two must be sepearted from each other and the first category should be only taken into account. Islamic Jurists and legal scholars disagree on some of the issues and lwas regarding Will. The differences lie in derivatives rather than generalities of Muslim law. Iranian lawmaker, in accordance with his mission, has enacted relevant legislations based on Islamic laws and famous scholars' opinions on this particular issue. According to the above, much importance is on recognizing the laws requiring religious commandments, understanding relevant regulations and taking a correct action.

Abstract

The main objectives of the present study are to evaluate the validity and reliability of the driver behavior questionnaire (DBQ) among professional bus drivers and to investigate the relationship between the DBQ factors, demographic and driving variables with self-reported crashes involvement. DBQ has been investigated based on content and construct validity in order to examine the panelists' viewpoints and underlying dimensions through exploratory factor analysis (EFA). The questionnaires (DBQ, demographic and driving information) completed by 168 male professional bus drivers. EFA was performed with extraction method of the principal axis factoring (PAF) and varimax rotation. In order to survey the relationship between the DBQ factors, demographic and driving variables with self-reported crashes, Pearson correlation test was used. The results of factor analysis showed four factors: risky violation, slip and lapse, highway violation, and mistake which all cover 45.1% of the total variance. There were a negative significant correlation between risky violation and mileage, as well as a positive significant correlation between highway violations and crashes involvement. 15-items of the DBQ will be a relatively suitable measure for studying bus drivers’ behavior in the future research directions. Improving cultural aspects related to the public expectations of the bus drivers play an effective role in reducing some violations of the bus drivers.
