Abstract
Hamit Macit Selekler şiirimize 1929’dan sonra otuz yıl katkıda bulunmuş bir şairimizdir. Seçilmiş şiirlerini yayınladığı kitabının adı İyilik’tir (1956). Şiirleri İslami-Türk estetiğinin en güzel örnekleridir. Şiirlerinde yurdumuzu, değerlerimizi, özellikle, sevgi-aşk, vatan sevgisi ve kahramanlık duygusu temalarını işlemiştir. Şiirlerinde kullandığı dil, Türkçe’nin en güzel ve en doğru örnekleridir.
