MUHAMMED FEVZI AND HIS BOOK CALLED MIFTAHU’N-NECAT (Qasidat al-Burdah Tahmis And Sharh)

Abstract

The Qasidat al-Burdah is one of the most important poems written in praise of the Prophet Muhammad. Qasidat al-Burdah is a qasida (poem) composed by Imam Muhammad Al-Busiri. After Busiri died, had been written very Qasidat al-Burdah or its sharh and tahmis in Turkish Literaure. Muhammed Fevzi (?-1900) have been written a Sharh Qasidat al-Burdah in Turkish literature. His book’s name is Miftahu’n-necat. In this paper, we aim to introduce Miftahu’n-necat. Key Words: Qasidat al-Burdah, Muhammed Fevzi, Miftahu’n-Necat
