Abstract
Bu çalışmada 17. yüzyıl şairlerinden Neşâtî Ahmed Dede’nin “Mersiyye Lî Hazret-i İmâm Hüseyn” isimli terkîb-i bendi tahlil edilmiştir. Mersiye’nin konusu, Hz.Hüseyn’in 10 Muharrem 61’de (10 Ekim 680)de Kerbelâ’da şehid edilmesidir. Hz.Hüseyn, “Hamse-i Âl-i Abâ”(Hz.Muhammed, Hz.Ali, Hz.Fâtıma, Hz.Hasan, Hz.Hüseyin)nın bir ferdi ve Ehl-i Beyt’in on iki imamından biridir. İslâm dünyasında yüzyıllar boyunca manevî rehberlik yapanlar, genellikle bu silsileden gelmiştir. Mersiye’de vurgulanan tem, “Ehl-i Beyt” sevgisidir. Şair, Hz.Hüseyn’in ve akrabalarının uğradığı trajik vak’ayı anlatırken hem kendi duygularını, hem de kâinâtın mâtemini coşkulu bir üslupla dile getirmiştir
