Environmental education for children's literature: teaching proposal

Abstract
The aim of this study is to ground as children's literature to the development of environmental education contributes. Environmental education involves awareness for issues affecting the environment, the development of habits, skills, abilities, attitudes, values clarification and skills to solve these problems. Using children's literature can develop environmental education through reading, comprehension, analysis and construction of poems, short stories, fables, riddles, as well as the aesthetic and moral preparation of the student to face the difficult task of participating in transforming the world.
