Abstract
Os trabalhos reunidos neste dossiê apresentam um fio condutor comum: o impacto do processo de digitalização e inovação tecnológica sobre os mercados culturais, sejam eles musical, televisivo, editorial, assim como sobre o próprio trabalho, as estratégias e racionalidades empresariais presentes no âmbito desses mercados. O material empírico e analítico urdido para esta publicação traz o signo do ineditismo e da originalidade, pois é a primeira vez que, no Brasil, um periódico com a envergadura e penetração da Revista Sociedade e Estado dedica um volume às interfaces entre tecnologia e mercados culturais.
