Effect of spirituality on decreasing crimes and social damages

Abstract
The present article deals with the effect of Ramadan on decreasing the amount of crimes and social damages. Firstly, in this research some scholars' views and ideas related to the spirituality and fast in Ramadan are examined. Moreover; the effect of fast on a person's health and mentality was demonstrated. And statistical analysis showed some crimes can be affected to be on the decrease in Ramadan namely, kidnapping, swindling, murdering, fighting, killing, trafficking, drinking, beguiling, doing abnormalities and corruption, and annoying the women and their escaping from home and family.
