A Note on the Notions of Topological Entropy

Journal Title: Earthline Journal of Mathematical Sciences - Year 2019, Vol 1, Issue 1

Abstract

Topological entropy is used to determine the complexity of a dynamical system. This paper aims to serve as a stepping stone for the study of topological entropy. We review the notions of topological entropy, give an overview on the relation between the notions and fundamental properties of topological entropy. Besides, we cover the topological entropy of the induced hyperspaces and its connection with the original systems. We also provide a summary on the latest research topic related with topological entropy.

Variational Iteration Method for Analytical Solution of the Lane-Emden Type Equation with Singular Initial and Boundary Conditions

In this paper, a well-known equation used in astrophysics and mathematical physics called the Lane-Emden equation is to be solved by a variational iteration method. The main purpose of this approach is to solve the singu...

A Best Proximity Point Theorem for G-Proximal (delta, 1-delta) Weak Contraction in Complete Metric Space Endowed with a Graph

The notion of (delta, 1-delta) weak contraction appeared in [1]. In this paper, we consider that the map satisfying the (delta, 1-delta) weak contraction is a non-self map, and obtain a best proximity point theorem in c...

Galois and Pataki Connections on Generalized Ordered Sets

In this paper, having in mind Galois and Pataki connections, we establish several basic theorems on increasingly seminormal and semiregular functions between gosets. An ordered pair X(\leq )=(X,\leq ) consisting of a se...

Bourbaki and Palais Proper Actions on d-Algebra

The main goal of this paper is to create a general two types of proper D-space, namely, Bourbaki proper D-space and Palais proper D-space, to explain the relation between Bourbaki proper and Palais proper D-spaces and to...
