AGREEMENTS CONCERNING RECOGNITION OF GUILT IN CRIMINAL PROCESS OF UKRAINE AS FACTOR OF VIOLATION OF PRIVATE PERSONAL RIGHTS

Abstract
The article critically assesses the practice of passing verdicts on agreements on recognizing guilt that are consistently characterized by violations of the principles of legality and respect for the rights of third parties. It is shown that although the institution of agreements was considered to be the embodiment of the “best practice of foreign countries”, but being transplanted into the soil of arbitrariness and irresponsibility of Ukrainian investigators and prosecutors, this “best practice” created a rattling mixture of lawlessness and ignorance. Specific court decisions are analyzed.
