Analysis of the Conception of Causative Factors and its Practical Application

Journal Title: International Journal of Contemporary Management - Year 2012, Vol 11, Issue 1

Abstract

The diagnosis of the managerial process is one of the most important problems of investigations. Current literature approaches refer rather to the whole business process of the organization. This is why it has been proposed, in this paper, the conception of the model of causative factors. This model refers to the 7S and 9S models of organization. The proposed model of causative factors based on two simple models: the 3A model and the 3 environments model. The first one refers to the dysfunction of management to such elements like: actors of action, attributes of action and actions of actors. The 3 environments model divides the social space into three categories: shareholders, stakeholders and society. Linking these two models, it has been elaborated, is the complex model of causative factors. This complex model is a form of the scheme of elements that could be a reason for management process dysfunction. It allows us to investigate relations of different elements to the analyzed process of organization managing. Using this complex model practical investigations have been performed. The process of managing the reforms of the Polish hard coal mining industry have been analyzed. Results show that the main actors of the managing process are: The Ministry of Economy and trade unions. The most important factor of the management process dysfunctions are informal relations between stakeholders.
