Abstract

In this work the results of the evaluation of the prophylaxis of bacterial infections in egg hens in the poultry farm of the Akmola region are presented. According to the results of the research, it was revealed that in the shop for repair young animals 6 species of an opportunistic microflora which meet in this or that association circulate, and under certain conditions they can cause various pathological processes or contribute to the outbreak of infectious disease. From pathological material in most cases (50.5 %) Escherichia coli was excreted. Evaluation of the use of antibacterial medicines has shown the effectiveness of the used medicines, which is reflected in the increase of livestock safety and the index of productivity, improving epizootological well-being and reducing the financial costs of veterinary and sanitary measures.
