[b][i]The Security of Carrying Out Osmological Expertise[/i][/b]

Abstract
Polish courts are very careful about evidence based on osmological expertise. She bases this statement on an extensive collection of rulings of the Supreme Court, which has handled the issue of allowing the use of osmology in criminal proceedings. Nevertheless, according to the author, the thorough method of performing osmological expertise guarantees significant security against mistakes of the experts. The questioning the credibility of osmological expertise by courts should not be based on unsubstantiated and emotional opinions concerning the possibilities of using a dog for the purpose of investigation, but on indicating that the security standards that are required from this methodology are not being met.
