DEMAND OF RUSSIAN LANGUAGE USAGE IN ENTERPRISES OF KLAIPĖDA REGION

Abstract
The article reveals current situation in labour market, where the advantage and essential factor is good knowledge of business foreign language lingua fransa. It is highlighted that more attention should be paid at improvement of foreign language, and especially Russian language, skills. Trends in labour market show that there are many Russian customers, so demand of employees with Russian language skills is increasing. Such demand is emphasized in enterprises where the basic communication tool is foreign language. Furthermore, here is presented a review of publications on Russian language usage. The authors note that Russian language is not interesting for young people, but demand is obvious. In business field, networking with Eastern countries both languages are used English and Russian. That is normal, because countries must have business relations. Employers can find specialists with Russian language skills, but a problem is employees’ age. Those, whose age is approximately 30, are able to speak Russian, but they are aging. Because of this reason, employers will have to invest more money in Russian language training courses and develop young employees.
