DIY (do it yourself) weapons in 2011-2016 conflict in Syria

Abstract
The article presents a phenomenon accompanying the conflict in Syria, involving the production and use of homemade weapons. Based on publications as well as multimedia materials published on the Internet the authors describe homemade weapons. The advantages and disadvantages of their use in tactical operations were identified in the form of conclusions.<br/><br/>
