Effectiveness of Types of Individual Defense Performance in Achieving Success

Abstract
The purpose of the study was to effectiveness of types of individual defense skill on performance in Football teams in premier league matches. The tournament includes double round-robin. Each team had to play seventeen matches at home and seventeen matches at away. Thirty four matches of champion team had been analyzed for this study. Individual defense skill was one of the most fundamental tactic skills, which was developed and applied in Football. The individual defense tactics directly affect the team's ability to regain possession and create scoring opportunities. The finding of the study have conduct that the values of regression coefficient had higher positive relation between individual defense 7 scores and 8 scores on goal scoring performance. The values of regression coefficient had a negative role in execution between individual defense 0 score, 3 scores and 4 scores on goal scoring performance. It appears that individual defense's ability of teams to control the opposing team's movements will greatly affects on success in Football.
