Etablissement des classes de fertilité du Thuya de Berberie (Tetraclinis articulata VAHL MASTERS) dans l'Ouest Algérien

Abstract
Des courbes de fertilité ont été établies pour les peuplements naturels de Thuya de Berberie circonscrits essentiellement dans les Monts des Trara et les Monts de Tlemcen (ouest Algérien). Les données exploitées dans l’étude proviennent de 50 placettes temporaires installées dans des peuplements aussi réguliers que possible par échantillonnage stratifié et couvrant de manière assez représentative tous les types de peuplements rencontrés. L'exploitation des sources d'informations disponibles a permis l'établissement de courbes de croissance en hauteur dominante des peuplements du Thuya et la fixation de trois niveaux de productivité en utilisant le modèle de JOHNSON-SCHUMACHER qui a donné lieu à un meilleur ajustement . L'évolution de la hauteur dominante du Thuya en fonction de l'âge a ensuite été comparée avec celle observée dans d’autres sites.
