Abstract
This publication is devoted to the emergence and development of civil service in the economic sphere in the countries of the Ancient East. The main areas of public administration in the economic sphere in Ancient Egypt, Babylon, Israel, Persia, India and China are studied. The peculiarities of the formation of the bureaucratic apparatus in the sphere of economic relations management in the Eastern countries are also considered.
