FOLK MUSICAL CREATION OF THE 18TH CENTURY AS AN INEX-HAUSTIBLE SOURCE OF FORMATION OF THE BEST EXAMPLES OF THE NATIONAL SINGING CULTURE

Abstract
The state and development of modern national choir singing art is mostly con-ditioned by the vocal and singing traditions and customs of the Ukrainian people which were formed during the preceding centuries. National folklore has always been the part of the national musical depository and it gave life to Ukrainian amateur and professional music. Musical singing heritage of the Ukrainians is distinguished by the multifaceted national colouring. It is also characterized by the lively and immediate connection with the way of thinking of the Ukrainian nation and with its strongly drawn towards singing art. In the best examples of the church one-voiced singing, spiritual and refined polyphonic choir singing concerts and symphonies one can vividly observe elements of Ukrainian folk songs and domestic, multi-genre dancing melodies.
