French on Specific Objectives in the Training of Algerian Apprentice-translators

Abstract
This article, which is part of the field of didactics of French on specific objectives, consists in collecting empirical data in their context and analyzing them. It has for objective the elaboration of a curriculum from a field survey carried out with students of the third year of Bachelor of Translation at the University of Annaba. The purpose of this study is to identify the students’ immediate needs in language and to contribute to the elaboration of a curriculum through the design of a series of activities, covering all the fields to which the young translator will be confronted. The self-satisfaction questionnaire reveals a positive change in the student's posture from a learner mastering of only the concepts of FOS, to the one who is able to move on to invest the field and act of professional translation.
