Giriburzina Settlement on the Coast of the Dniester Estuary

Abstract
The article is devoted to the settlement of the New Time Giriburzina located on the left bank of the Dniester Estuary in the village of Roksolany (Ovidiopol district of the Odessa region). The authors published in it the results of his explorations and excavations carried out in 2007 by the Izmail expedition of the Institute of Archaeology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (I.V. Sapozhnykov). In addition, it describes the materials of the collection of P.V. Apanasenko (primarily coins and clay pipes), which he collected in the area of this settlement. Analysis of these materials, as well as data from written sources and cartography allowed dating the existence of this settlement from the middle of the XVII to the end of the XVIIІ century AD, although in the future it may be possible to single out one more «Ukrainian episode» of the times of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania in the 1370s-1430s.
