Grain exports in the new economic strategy of Ukraine

Abstract
Annotation. The purpose of the paper is to study the state of export of grain in the latest economic strategy of Ukraine. Methodology of research. The objectives of the article implemented by using the following general and specific research methods: analysis and synthesis, systematization and generalization, dialectical approach. Findings. The article highlights the current rate of grain exports to world markets and the necessity of changes in a country’s grain balance, which are determined by the transformation of the Ukrainian economy from commodity economy into an innovative one. Practical value. The study of the problem discussed in the article makes it possible to draw the following conclusions: the further increase in grain production should be based on the growth of the fertility of agricultural land; in the growing amount of grain balance domestic needs should be given priority in the export policy of the state and regulated by tax legislation and licensed volumes of exports; grain exports should be carried out within the framework of the policy of transition from raw materials to the innovative strategy of development of the national economy.
