GROUNDING THE CHOICE OF LOGISTIC STRATEGY OF AN INDUSTRIAL ENTERPRISE

Abstract
Introduction. The sphere of modern industrial enterprise’s logistic management needs to find the new methods and approaches to clarifying of logistic strategy choice from the positions of working out of the strategic directions changes, which are adequate to the macroenvironment trends. As well we need to identify internal conditions to implement the chosen direction of the change. Purpose. The aim is to develop an approach to a choice of enterprise’s logistic strategy which based on the external and internal conditions analysis. These conditions form the logistic potential and substantiate the choice from the point of identifying the possibilities of effective strategy implementation. Methods. The research methodology is based on the general scientific and subject-specific research methods, such as abstract and logical, system and structural, theoretic generalization and comparison, modeling, graphic. Results. The sequence of the activities for logistic strategy choice is proposed. It has been determined that internal conditions are described under the changes of enterprise logistic potential elements in a certain direction for effective implementation of any logistic strategy. To make changes visualized the situational profiles have been used. The behavior of the logistic potential is substantiated for basic logistic strategies description. Discussion. Further research should be organized in the area of the characterization logistic potential elements impotence and costs for their formation. And finally, it will be possible to plan costs of strategic change implementation. Functional and cost analysis might be used as a solution to this task.
