Historical origins of the scientifically practical commentary

Abstract
The article is devoted to the analysis of the historical origins of the scientifically practical commentary. Considers general questions of the origin of the commentary tradition in Ancient India and China,Judaism, described in greater detail the emergence of the European commentary tradition in Ancient Greece and its development in Roman law. The role of commenting in the emergence of philosophy and the development of culture, the value of commenting for the formation of the jurisprudence and development of law in Ancient Rome.
