International legal regulation of confidentiality principle in the health sector.

Abstract
It’s determined that in Ukraine legal regulation of the right to privacy of the patient is due to several problems that need solving. The specified requires not only legislative activity, but scientific analysis on the generalization of international norms in the examined area, which set legal standards for implementation in national legislation. This article analyzes the international standards governing the confidentiality principle of medical information. The following levels of international law are studied: general regulations that determine the right to privacy; special documents defining privacy in the health sector; acts governing the confidentiality of patients with special legal status. The conclusion regarding the characteristics of confidentiality is made.
