Investigation of Correlation between Organizational Structures and Effectiveness in Zahedan University of Medical Sciences

Abstract
The aim of this work is investigating problems in organizational structure of Zahedan University of Medical Sciences and its effectiveness on the organization. To this end, a sample in size 285 was selected by stratified sampling method from staff employed in headquarters in Zahedan University of Medical Sciences. Data collection tool was standard questionnaire, reliability and validity of which was confirmed. Obtained data were analyzed using correlation coefficient and regression. Findings show positive and significant correlation between organizational structure and organizational effectiveness. In addition, other findings show organizational structure complexity, organizational structure formalization and organizational structure Centralization have a significant positive correlation with organizational effectiveness.
