KERAGAAN USAHATANI DAN PEMASARAN BUAH NAGA ORGANIK

Abstract

One important factor in the agribusiness of horticulture is institutional marketing and one of the commodities that prospecive is organic dragon fruit. This study aims to determine the revenue of farmers and marketing margin of organic dragon fruit in Pamekasan. Results of the analysis showed profit in organic dragon fruit farming, this is indicated by the value of R / C = 2,34. When compared with the value of R / C ratio of Madura tobacco farming in the amount of 1.38 it can be concluded that organic dragon fruit farming more efficient so that it can be said dragon fruit organic farm can be used as an alternative to tobacco Madura farming. Range (acquirement) marketing margin between marketing agencies tend to vary and lame. The amount of marketing margin on middlemen and traders respectively Rp 5,000 / kg and Rp 4,000 / kg. The portion of the farmer (farmer share) organic dragon fruit on middlemen and traders respectively 10% and 10.67%. Economically, organic dragon fruit is still profitable. This advantage can be increased by improving the production system, so that productivity can be improved. It is estimated that the production process can improve the quality and quantity, especially at higher levels, so it has the opportunity to access larger markets, especially foreign markets (exports).
