MODEL OF INTERNATIONAL COMPETITIVENESS BY M. PORTER: SUCCESSFUL POSITIONING OF UKRAINE ON THE WORLD MARKET

Abstract
The article deals with the main provisions of the competitiveness concept of the national economy. The analytical potential of the competitive diamond of M. Porter has been studied. The competitive advantages of Ukraine in terms of economy determinants such as factor conditions, conditions of domestic demand, related and supporting industries, strategy, structure and rivalry of firms, chance, actions of the government have been investigated. The economic consequences of Crimean annexation and armed conflict in the Donbass region have been analyzed. Some suggestions for stabilization of the economy and successful realization of the European integration aspirations are given.
