Perfecting indicators of development of tourism industry in the conditions of the modernization of economy

Abstract
Annotation. Purpose. It is to identify the problems of accounting of economic indicators of tourism development, as well as determining the directions of their improvement. The article investigates the economic indicators of tourism development in Ukraine and the improvement of methodological approaches of their account. Methodology of research. The objectives of the article implemented by using the following general and specific research methods: analysis and synthesis, systematization and generalization, dialectical approach. Findings. Investigated national and international accounting system of indicators of tourism development. The main problems and suggest ways of improving the accounting system of economic indicators of tourism development. Practical value. The article substantiates the need to improve the accounting system of economic indicators of tourism development and highlight the section “Tourism” in the National Classification of Economic Activities. This will facilitate the comparability of the development of tourism in Ukraine and abroad, and will provide an opportunity to identify the real contribution of the tourism sector to the economic growth of Ukraine. The basic scientific positions of Articles can be used in the practice of tourism enterprises.
