Podręcznik Józefa Szymańskiego na tle dyskusji nad metodyką kształcenia historyków w zakresie nauk pomocniczych historii

Abstract
The Autor presented the genesis and evolution of the content of all editions of the manual by Jozef Szymanski on the background of discussion on the methodology of educating historians in the field of auxiliary sciences of history and the development of these disciplines. The discourse of the qualities of the manual can be observed in fourteen published reviews, including six foreign ones. In addition, the discussion on methodology and the manual took place at the methodological meetings and scientific conferences organized by Jozef Szymanski. All this impulses and extensive scientific interests of Jozef Szymanski influenced the improvement of the content of subsequent editions of the manual and the masterly method of the lecture.
