POLICY OF THE EUROPEAN UNION IN THE FIELD OF NON-PROLIFERATION OF THE NUCLEAR WEAPON

Abstract
Article is devoted to a problem of proliferation of the nuclear weapon, safety of the world community posing enormous threat. The author analyzed policy of the European Union in the field of non-proliferation of weapons of mass destruction. As an example the nuclear program of Iran is presented in article. The special attention is paid to the European security strategy, and also strategy against proliferation of WMD. On the basis of the carried-out analysis, the author emphasizes that the policy of EU in the field of safety and defense is reduced to application of policy of nuclear control.
