Political Orthodoxy in the Context of Postmodern Culture

Abstract
The article examines the general nature of political Orthodoxy, in particular the example of the modern Russian Orthodox Church, in the context of the axiological and aesthetic paradigms of the postmodern culture. Being in historical dependence on state power, Russian Orthodox tradition has spread in all regions of Russia's political and cultural influence, and today it is an important factor within the framework of contemporary Russian ideological discourse. The religious phenomenon of political Orthodoxy means the penetration of political discourse into the sphere of religious rhetoric and the significant clericalization of secular society. The most obvious political Orthodoxy was manifested in the modern Russian Orthodox Church, especially through the interaction of representatives and institutions of Russian state power with the Russian Russian Orthodox Church. The cultural and philosophical basis for the functioning of political orthodoxy is due to the fact that the person of the postmodern age, though, lost the notion of sacred and profane inherent in the traditional society, but fell under the conditions of a certain language game, the rules of which it is not familiar. Due to the lack of experience in the conditions of a liberal state, representatives of the Russian Orthodox Church after the collapse of the Soviet Union instinctively focused on the most conservative course.
