Problem napadów na dwory i folwarki na terenie Generalnego Gubernatorstwa (bez Galicji) w okresie okupacji niemieckiej w latach 1939-1945

Abstract
The article deals with the issues of attacks on manor houses during the Second World War in the area of the General Government. In this procedure were involved both ordinary criminals and communist organization, such as the Polish Workers' Party and its armed arm the People's Guard (renamed at the beginnings of January 1944 to the People's Army). The reasons why manor house was attractive, especially for communist groups, were several. The attack gave the communist organization the opportunity to obtain valuables and, at the same time, “punish” the political enemy who opposed the slogans proclaimed by the communists.
