QUANTIFIERS AND QUANTITATIVE WORDS: EXPRESSIVE FEATURES IN ENGLISH AND UZBEK

Abstract
This article compares the semantic, syntactic, and pragmatic features of quantifiers and quantitative words in English and Uzbek. The study examines not only their role in denoting quantity but also their function in expressing politeness, uncertainty and emotional connotations in communication. It aims to reveal cultural and cognitive differences through these quantifiers.
