Regional emergencies, Bam, Kerman province, Iran Methadone Poisoning

Abstract
Poisoning is one of the most common causes of emergency department visits and the second cause of unintentional death in children. Methadone poisoning is very common among children in Bam, Kerman, Iran, due to its water-like appearance. This letter gives some statistics regarding methadone poisoning and proposes simple preventive measures to avoid this problem.
