REGIONAL SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT POLICY FOR THE CARPATHIAN REGION OF UKRAINE

Abstract
The necessity for development of regional sustainable policy in Ukraine, based on each region’s social economic and environmental development features and level, is justified in the article. A particular attention is paid to adequate taking of spatial ecological capacity of each region, especially the Carpathian, into account in this process. Proposals are given concerning efficiency increase of program targets planning as an instrument for solution of Ukrainian Carpathian region’s structural problems and thus for securing its sustainable development
