SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC ASPECTS OF HEALTH OF CHILDREN’S POPULATION OF AGRICULTURAL TERRITORIES

Abstract
Purpose. The aim of the article is to analyze the health of the children’s population of rural areas and to identify regional differences in its formation. Methodology of research. The following methods of scientific research are used to achieve this goal: dialectical – for the analysis of the components of the health of rural children population; analytical and monographic – in the development of literary, statistical and Internet sources; causal – to reflect the relationship between the social and economic aspects of the health of the children’s population and the territory of his residence; graphical and tabular – for visual display of the processed statistics; abstract and logical – for the generalization of the above material and the formulation of conclusions. Findings. The structure of the children’s population in 2017 is analyzed and it is established that the share of rural children’s population is predominant and is more than 50% in the Transcarpathian, Ivano-Frankivsk, Rivne, Ternopil and Chernivtsi regions. It has been established that the prevalence and morbidity of rural children’s population (per 1000 children) is significantly lower than the same indicators among urban children, but this does not reflect the real state of physical health of children, since these indicators are determined by the treatment of parents of children or of themselves children of adolescents age to doctors; in addition, the remoteness of individual rural areas from rayon or oblast centers further “distorts” real indicators. The regions of Ukraine are grouped according to the highest and lowest incidence rates per 1000 rural children per each class. It has been found that for the rural children’s population the most characteristic (with the highest incidence rates) are respiratory diseases, skin and subcutaneous tissue diseases, diseases of the digestive system and diseases of the eye and adventitious apparatus. It is proved that in conditions of decentralization of power, every OTG, freely disposing of funds, can create the best conditions for the development (physical, emotional, intellectual, etc.) of the children’s population living in rural areas. Originality. The analysis of the health of the children’s population of rural areas has been carried out unlike such studies on the basis of the determined components of the health of the children’s population (physical, mental, intellectual and social). Practical value. The results of the research can be used in the teaching of disciplines, writing scientific papers in the context of in-depth study of the problems of forming the health of the children’s population of rural areas. The well-known problem could be the basis for writing the research work “Health of rural children’s population”.
