Abstract
The article considers the peculiarity of educational policy as a strategic priority of the state policy of Ukraine. Definition provided a definition of "national education policy", analyzes the periodization of public policy, and analyzes the main peculiarities of the education policy in the state, the factors and principles of development and implementation of education policy in the state.
