ТЕХНОЛОГІЇ ВІЗУАЛІЗАЦІЇ ДАНИХ

Abstract
The article analyzes the researches related to the problem of data visualization as a method for presenting information in the form of an optical image. The results of researches which substantiate efficiency of use of technologies of visualization of data in the process of cognition are shown. The peculiarities of the technologies of creating graphic images for scientific visualization are revealed. The scientific visualization tasks are formulated. The principles of compilation of visual means of presenting information are investigated. Based on the analysis, the criteria for classification of data visualization technologies are defined: the length of data in time; the scale of the analyzed phenomenon; used coordinate system; image type; image format; method of data processing before visualization; data type; degree of virtualization. The classification of data visualization technologies according to the determined criteria is carried out.
