The new and rare species of beetles Coleoptera recorded in the Bieszczady National Park in 2009

Abstract

The most interesting finding is Pyrochroa serraticornis recorded for the first time in the Bieszczady Mts. Only 1 individual was observed on shrubs in Wołosatka stream valley on the 27 of May 2009. The new site of the rare Brachyleptura tesserula (Charp.) longhorn beetle was found within the area of Wołosaty stream valley in July 2009. Three individuals of this species have been found on herbal plants along the tourist path leading from Caryńska Mt. to Ustrzyki Górne. There was also interesting record of another longhorn representative Aegomorphus clavipes which has been found in timber yard with aspen, willow and spruce wood piles close to Wołosate village.
