THE RESEARCH OF THE ELECTRICAL ENERGY DISTORTION CHARACTERISTICS IN THE ALTERNATING CURRENT CIRCUIT OF THE THYRISTOR RECTIFIER - DC MOTOR COMPLEX

Abstract
Purpose. The research was realized on a model system «thyristor rectifier - the DC motor». According to the calculated ratios, recommended by the standard IEEE 1459-2010 it was collected in a specialized visual programming environment. Methodology. Mathematical simulation of the industrial plant with installation – roaster was applied. According to the calculated ratios, recommended by the standard IEEE 1459-2010 the power part of the model was made as the system «thyristor rectifier - the DC motor»,. Results. The research of electricity consumption of the industrial plant with installation site the power part of which was made on the system «thyristor rectifier - a DC motor» was realized by using the visual programming techniques and means. A corresponding measuring block was introduced into the model for the determination of the power component that guided by the calculated ratios recommended by the IEEE 1459-2010 standard. As a result of the experiments links, during which the control angle of the thyristor rectifier was changed, It was established that the power of the distortion caused by the current harmonics is transferred to the substation lowering transformer unchanged, while the power due to harmonics of the voltage is significantly reduced. The process of distributing these power components requires further research. Originality. For the first time, it was carried the research of the electrical energy consumption of the site of the industrial plant with installation – roaster, guided by the directions recommended by the IEEE 1459-2010 Standard for the system «thyristor rectifier - the DC motor». Practical value. The experimental studies have confirmed the adequacy of the model which allows to determine the power component for the system «thyristor rectifier - the DC motor» and others. The use of passive devices to improve the regime parameters of electricity distribution systems doesn’t produce the expected results, particularly in the case when the regime parameters are time-varying. As a result, the question of the influence of such consumers on the power supply system is actual issue. References 10, figures 10.
