The role of competence on the leadership self-efficiency among female volley ball

Abstract

The recent research is studying on the role f competence on the leadership self-efficiency among female volleyball coaches in Tehran. 152 persons of female volleyball coaches are selected randomly as sample. Subjects are completed leadership self-efficiency scales (Morphi, 1992), & coach’s competence scale (Leonardo da Vinci, 2008) voluntary. The regression multiple variables findings showed that there is meaningful, weak & direct relationship between leadership self-efficiency & coaches’ competence (0.33). The leadership self-efficiency has direct, average & meaningful relationship with guidance & counseling component (0.54) & it has meaningful, average & direct relationship with provided information (0.51), also it has meaningful, direct & strong relationship with mesh & assessment component (0.62). The competence components have high power expiation variance of leadership self-efficiency & per each unit in standard deviation of guidance & counseling, provided information, mash & assessment, self-efficiency are increased the standard deviation orderly;0.35, 0.36, 0.34. The total results of research of comparison the relationship between leadership self-efficiency & coach’s competence index & its components among coaches showed that there is meaningful relationship between coaches’ leadership self-efficiency & competence & guidance & counseling, mash, provided information & evaluation components.
