Występowanie depresji poporodowej wśród położnic

Abstract
Wstęp. Ciąża i połóg są okresami, w których dochodzi do wahania nastroju i zmian hormonalnych w organizmie kobiety. Pojawienie się zaburzeń depresyjnych podczas połogu jest około dziesięciokrotnie częstsze niż w innym czasie. Cel. Celem pracy była analiza występowania depresji poporodowej wśród położnic. Materiał i metoda. Badania przeprowadzono wśród 130 położnic pomiędzy 4. a 12. tygodniem połogu. Zastosowane narzędzie badawcze stanowił autorski kwestionariusz ankiety oraz Edynburska Skala Depresji Poporodowej (ang. Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale – ESDP). Wyniki. Badania własne wykazały, że u 60% respondentek nie stwierdzono depresji poporodowej, zaś u pozostałych 40% stwierdzono depresję o różnym nasileniu. Wnioski. Liczba ciąż, rodzaj porodu i strata osoby bliskiej nie warunkują występowania depresji w okresie poporodowym. Położnice, u których w przeszłości występowały zaburzenia psychiczne, wymagają szczególnej uwagi położnych i pielęgniarek rodzinnych podczas wizyt patronażowych.
