Abstract

Family is the main social institution that is made up with the marriage of man and woman and continues with a mutual love, confidence and forgiveness. Perhaps, the main fatal blow that can cause the disruption of this sacred institution is the betrayal of one of the main members of the family to the love of the wife. By comparing the two Iranian and European stories in this article, the attempt is to compare the men’s unkindness to this sacred institution in two Western and Eastern societies and to represent the cultural differences between the thoughts, beliefs and behaviors.

Abstract

This study examined the students' level of understanding of the terms "engineering culture" and "cultural engineering" and the role of universities in the development of descriptive and survey type. The study population included 95 university students in Tehran in the academic year 1394 based on the variance of statistical samples, a sample size of 765 was calculated using the formula. Multi-stage stratified cluster random sampling method was used population. Due to the high volume of population, sampling was conducted in two stages. Firstly, the use of the formula sample size of 22 state universities, PNU and the Islamic Azad University in the province and 10 were selected by simple random sampling. In the second stage, stratified sampling method proportional to the population of the study was used in each of the 10 university. In this study, the two instruments semi-structured interviews and questionnaires were used, respectively. Interview to assess students' perception of the words "engineering culture" and "cultural engineering" as well as awareness of the difference between them and provide basic guidelines for the promotion and development of "engineering culture" and "cultural engineering" was conducted by adopting the 3 questions . Made questionnaire has 10 questions with a range of five options (from very high to very low) to assess the role of the university in the development of these two words as well as an ideal measure of the difference between culture and society was prepared students. The mean score of 4/37 expert evaluation (in the range of five Likert), indicating that the validity of the tool. The reliability of the instrument after the pilot study using Cronbach's alpha coefficient that is equal to the true 0/87 reliability level is desirable. To analyze the data obtained from the use of indices measuring instruments in addition to the frequency and percentage descriptive statistics, t-test statistical method was used in inferential statistics. The results of the students' perception of the words "engineering culture" and "cultural engineering" showed that among the 765 students studied at public universities, PNU and Islamic Azad Only 9/02 percent of students in Tehran province compared to the word "engineering culture" and "cultural engineering" have awareness of perception And have been able to offer a full compliment of two words that awareness is also due to the non-academic books. However, the 90/98 percent of the students in addition to providing a definition for the first time they had heard wrong. There is awareness of the word "engineering culture" and "cultural engineering" only in the 9/02 percent of the students was very low. This can be a disadvantage for our universities is not a large enough proportion of cultural issues and failed to raise students' awareness in this area.

Abstract

Some of the scholars and lawyers consider parity and confidentiality as the inherent requirement of marriage. However, it is not possible to ignore the conflicts of ideas with respect to the instances of inherent requirements of marriage. The inherent requirements of marriage are the results and inherent effect of marriage where the goal and purpose of marriage contract is its development. Contradictory marriage requirement demolishes such an effect of the marriage in that the condition of contradictory requirement of marriage leads to the cancellation of marriage. It is of doubt of what the criteria of inherent requirements of marriage are. The present study endeavors to demonstrate the criteria and principles for identifying the inherent requirement of marriage which are in conflict among Iran and Egypt laws doctrine. To examine the identification for problem dealing with the requirements of marriage, one can take into consideration the marriage contraction denied by scholars who consider family formation, sexual pleasure and cooperation as the purposes of marriage. However, these elements are not regarded as the nature of marriage and they are the claimers of marriage occurring without their development. The clarity ad removing the conflict from the considered issues are possible through responding to the question of what are the inherent requirements of the marriage and what the solutions is. Is it a complex which his composed of some factors and each component is one art of it? If it is the situation, then what the relation for each part to the whole is. With respect to the complexity of the issue, a number of theories are offered and the reasonable perspectives is admitted. Since the difference within the inherent requirements of marriage has led to the differences in offering the instances of “the opposing condition of marriage” in Iran and Egypt laws, the aim of the present study is to review the conflict perspectives with respect to the laws.

Abstract

Listening comprehension is believed to play a vital role in the second language acquisition process. In the past, traditional listening classes in classrooms were notoriously ineffective at improving listening in real-world situations. Today, teachers take it for granted that employing listening-related strategies and exercises can bring the language learners into real-world situations, enabling the learners to communicate based on what they have experienced. Thus, the aim of the present study is to determine whether activating schema through applying two strategies (predicting and inference) has any effect on listening comprehension of EFL learners. In so doing, 81 female students were randomly chosen as the sample size. To address the purpose, the participants were assigned to three groups (two experimental groups and on control group). The results of paired t -test and ANOVA test indicated that predicting and inference techniques had a significant effect on EFL learners’ listening comprehension individually. In addition, it was found that the two techniques had a significant effect on EFL learners’ listening comprehension when employed simultaneously. Ultimately, it was concluded in the present study that inference technique was more effective when compared to predicting technique.

Abstract

The current research examines the interaction of architectural design with building regulations. It attempts to find out the reasons behind the probable structural tensions between architectural design process and building regulations. It aims to provide the relevant rule-makers with new insights into the way building regulations can become more structurally-fit for architectural design. Ten Iranian expert architects with a successful work experience of more than thirty years were interviewed and their views concerning the role and status of building regulations in architectural design, their challenges for the design process and their desired characteristics were sought. The paper concludes that generally expert architects' attitudes toward building regulations indicate their adaptation to the realities of architectural design and in order to be evaluated as structurally fit for architectural design, building regulations should give proper responses to three main challenges: challenge of inner balance, challenge of anticipation, and challenge of accuracy.

Abstract

Introduction: One of the risks always threatening human is the workplace hazards disturbing his life in various forms. One harmful factor in textile industry is the noise pollution existing in almost all units, affecting the health of workers, area residents and environment negatively.Material and Methods: This is a field study investigating the risk of noise pollution in weaving unit, north part of the factory and administration office (which is located) next to the weaving unit in a textile plant in Tehran. To measure the noise environmentally we use A noise analyzer model “TES 1358” was used to measure simple noise and with frequency analysis in octave frequencies and also noise dosimeter model “TES 1355” was used to investigate individual exposure. Results: For this purpose, the level of noise was measured in 111 stations in different parts and the results were compared with standards defined in ACGIH and EPA and The level of pollution spread were demonstrated using GIS maps charts and based on justified charts. The results Showed that noise level in most Stations exceeded the permissible level authorized (higher than 85 dBA in production unit and higher than 65 dB in administration unit). Also, based on the questionnaire investigating the comfort and protection level of the helmets it was revealed that used helmets were not were used not able to protect the workers against the existing noise.Discussion and conclusion: To control noise it was designed and suggested to install a 3 layer KENAF partition surrounding winder machines and also suspended acoustic tile and foam on top of the machine. Thus, some plans and schemes were developed to decrease the level of the noise pollution. Proposition: Substitution some weaving machines (for example electronic machines that are 6 meter instead of electronic and mechanical machines that are 3 meter) or changing some parts of machines (using Teflon gears instead of metal gears), periodical services, some environmental renovations are needful for noise reduction.

Abstract

Nowadays concepts of place and sense of place have attracted many of contemporary researches in the field of urban design and planning. In the past, cities had a higher ability to establish connection between human and space. Today, however, cities are consisted of many spaces without identity and meaning which are produced through a process of homogenization emerging from capitalist urbanization. The production of non-places and identical spaces has marginalized the identity of local places and cultures. Through a critical review of different features place and models for evaluation of sense of place, a new model has been synthesized. This model then been used to analyse a case study in Urmia city (different sections of Imam Khomeini Street). According to the findings, different parts of Imam Khomeini Street, have different identities and thus create different senses of places. The research method used is descriptive-analytical using various methods such as library study, documentation and presence in the environment and questionnaire for data collection (field observations and questionnaire design and interviewing). The results of the study confirms the hypothesis that different sections of Emam Khomeini Axis has different impacts on people’s sense of place and meanings of the street.
