Abstract

The aim of this study was to identify factors affecting social capital of P.E instructors in Khorasan Razavi province. The study population consisted of Physical Education instructors (2481 people) in Khorasan Razavi province, 334 of whom were selected using Morgan table and based on combined stratified and random sampling to take part in this descriptive survey. Two questionnaires were used to collect demographic and social capital data: the former was designed by a researcher and the latter was Nahapiet and Ghoshal (1998) social capital questionnaire. The validity of the social capital questionnaire was approved by 10 to 13 sports management professors at the Ferdowsi University of Mashad and Azad University. The calculated reliability of the same questionnaire according to Cronbach’s Alpha was 0.94. Structural equation modeling techniques were used to analyze the data. Our findings revealed that relational and structural dimensions were the top most important effective factors in social capital formation of the participants, while the cognitive dimension was demonstrated to be the least important factor in this regards. In general, the results showed that all the three cognitive, structural and relational dimensions were positively effective in the social capital formation of P.E instructors in Khorasan Razavi province.

Abstract

One reason using of quantitative methods in investment management, this is development of financial economics. Financial economic development has expanded with portfolio optimization concept’s. In fact, this is concept of portfolio optimization and diversification, the development of financial markets and financial decision-making. In this way, beetwen of mathematical models and operational research in recent decades had been able to optimize affect portfolios. In this study, the classic portfolio optimization (Markowitz mean-variance model) in possible of using the skewed-based model as the objective function is investigated. In the present study is an attempt to model-based portfolio optimization using skewness (fuzzy) you can estimate and compare the risk and return portfolio risk and return anticipated this risk and return models predicted the results can be achieved in the classical model. In this study, we revision 195 monthly portfolio during 16 years and 3 months for listed companies in Tehran Stock Exchange and the risk and return of each portfolio based on two models of optimizational model was estimated skewness and classical optimization and in next step, using of the average difference could revision significant difference between risk and return were anticipated in the proposed methods. This study showed skewness model projected returns with returns predicted by the classical model, there are significant differences. And the predicted risk by the skewness model with risk predicted by the classical model, there are significant differences.

Abstract

Stress is an everyday reality in the aviation scenario. Stress is an insidious threat to aviation safety because of the impairments in alertness and performance it creates. Anyone can be affected by stress, but the extent to which we experience stress depends on our life-style. Exercise is an appropriate strategy for physical fitness, prevention and coping with stress. This research compares occupational stressors between athlete and non- athlete flight attendants in 2 Iranian’s airlines. In this regard, by reviewing previous researches and interviewing with aviation experts, 33 occupational stressor variables based on speilberger job stress questionnaire (1984) were identified. The validity of the questionnaire was approved by the 19 experts and the reliability was determined by cronbach’s alpha coefficient (r=0.97). Questionnaires were distributed among the flight attendants in 4 airports. Independent T test was used to compare occupational stressors between athlete and non-athlete flight attendants. The results showed that there is significance difference in organizational and managerial occupational stressors between athlete and non-athlete flight attendants.

Abstract

Background and Objective: There exists evidence of nutrients deficiency as a risk factor for frailty syndrome. This study aimed at determining the relationship between the dietary intake pattern and the risk of frailty syndrome. Materials and Methods: In this cross-sectional study, 250 men and women aged 60-75 years who were members of the Qazvin Retirement Center were selected randomly. Moderate frailty syndrome is recognized with 2-3 out of 5 criteria defined by Fried et al. including 1) slowness while walking, 2) muscle weakness, 3) exhaustion, 4) low physical activity, and 5) unintentional weight loss. Weight and height of the elderly were measured. In order to assess the participants’ diet during the past month, the general questionnaire and the food frequency questionnaire (FFQ) were completed. The results were analyzed with SPSS-21. Along with controlling confounding variables, regression analysis was used to determine the risk of moderate frailty syndrome in quartiles of common dietary patterns. Findings: Two dietary patterns of healthy and unhealthy were obtained in the study population using factor analysis. The risk for syndrome in the highest quartile of healthy dietary pattern was significantly less than the lowest quartile of healthy dietary pattern in both the raw model and after adjusting for confounding variables. The risk of metabolic syndrome in the highest quartile of healthy dietary pattern was 80% lower than the first quarter of healthy dietary pattern. Conclusion: The prevalence of moderate frailty syndrome significantly decreased with increasing quartile of healthy dietary pattern.

Abstract

Practically, most of physical systems have complex high order models. This complexity imposes major difficulties in analysis, simulation and control designs. Model reduction is an approach for decreasing the computational complexity of mathematical models in numerical simulations. This paper presents a new model order reduction technique based on optimizing the Pade rational approximator based on the invasive weed optimization algorithm to solve the complex model reduction problems with no analytical solutions and also to achieve a global optimized reduced order models. The system numerator and denominator polynomial coefficients of the reduced order model are achieved by minimizing the norm 2 error of the step response between the original system and the reduced order system using invasive weed optimization algorithm. Two numerical examples are performed to illustrate the system superiority over some other popular algorithms like GA and PSO.
