Abstract

The introduction or replacement of an information system and organizational behavioral impact is very complicated. Changes in how information is defined, accessed, and used to manage organizational resources often result in power sharing and a new strength. This condition is usually caused by mistakes in managing the transition phase. A process of change and implementation have a psychological impact on those affected by change (internal), where if the changes actually happen, will cause the impact ofsituational for others associated with the organization. Control project risk fa ctors to some extent by the approach just in case. This research uses the concept of integrated project management with a total solution approach, namely awareness, alignment, action, adoption, assurance. This total solution approach through four important stages, namely the determination of the diagnostic phase, redesigning the organization, organizational transformation and continuous improvement with diagrams aids Delta Matrix. Overall information system design and implementation process should be managed as a planned organizational change. Social and technical design aims to obtain an optimal combination of design solutions to social and technical. Key to the success of change management and implementation also relies heavily on the company's commitment, communication skills, focus on implementing change and not be bothered with other things, and utilize human resources to be able to implement the change process and implementation.

Abstract

Artificial Neural Net is a method in soft computing that imitate the structure of biological nervous, where multiple nodes communicate with each other through synapses that interconnect them. That method can be utilized for pattern recognition processes, such as hand writing character recognition. This paper is aimed to develop hand writing character recognition using Artificial Neural Net method. Perceptron neural network is adopted in Artificial Neural Net. A mapping method is used for preprocessing to segment a character image to be processed by Artificial Neural Net. The experimental results show that among all of successful segmented characters of all the training data. the system recognizes the characters with an accuracy close to 79,2%.

Abstract

The authors conducted a study on wiretapping in computer networks because of it is very disturbing security and comfort in the surf. Therefore the writer create a proxy tunnel software with symmetric and asymmetric encryption as a security agent that encrypts data communications conducted. Forms of research that the author did was experimental data collection techniques onegroup posttest-pretest, the authors study variable is the security of data packets transmitted between website and browser. Design method used is the Extreme Programming with 4 ways to apply the practical development of XP, namely coding, testing, listening and designing. The result is a software design software called "Crypto Tunnel Proxy", according to the function of encryption, tunneling and proxy. The software engineering author uses Visual Basic 6.0 and uses 2 types of encryption, namely symmetrical and asymmetrical. The authors also apply the hash function as a fingerprint or fingerptint of keys that are sent. This application can improve security in computer networks. By encrypting all data packets between the browser and the website are symmetrical and asymmetrical. Tests conducted with several commonly used browsers.

Abstract

Research on PD Citra Computer of Pontianak include the company's working procedures from receipt of goods orders, sales returns, revenue service, and making reports. The problems are found process of slow sales transaction handling, storage and recording of sales data in the sales book,its makes finding data and presenting the information to be ineffective and inefficient. The research method used descriptive method, that is conducted in a systematic, factual, and actual. The design and developed a protoype of sales information system using Microsoft Visual Fox Pro 9.0 programming language, also the database is already integrated in Visual Fox Pro 9.0. The proposal of system generate expected to answer a variety of problems that are found, mainly for the provision of various reports with more specific information, such as sales per customer report, sales report per period, the report returns per subscriber, the report returns per period, per period of service reports, and other reports useful for leadership in conducting the analysis and decision making.

Abstract

Software Piracy has become a serious global problem, not only in the industrial world but also happened in the world of education. This research conducted to investigate what kind of factors causing software piracy intention in academic institution. Former research used the attitude variable, gender, majors, student’s family income, ownership of computer, and institutional monitoring and clarification. This research added the education level variable with the 79 responses and found that attitude variable, gender, the level of education, and ownership of computer influence the student intention to do the software piracy.

Abstract

Sudoku is a logical puzzle that using numbers as the symbol to play, it has a quite interesting problem to be solved, Genetic Algorithm is suited as a problem solving for sudoku because Genetic algorithm method is to find solution with an optimization when Sudoku need an optimization to find the solution. Designing Sudoku with Genetic Algorithm as the problem solver could solve sudoku faster because Genetic Algorithm always produce a new better solution every loop that called Generations with selection, crossover and mutation process to create a new solution.

Abstract

Otomata and language theory cannot be separated in the world of informatics and represents compulsory subjects that must be provided. Therefore, to produce software in engineering requires a model which can be the solution of a problem later, because the model is an idea that will be applied to generate a software engineering. As one model that mean in here is otomata machine which is the model that can recognize, accept/ generate a sentence in a particular language. It is necessary to understand how to do modeling and testing so that it can be concluded on otomata engine if the string entered correct or wrong. This study will only discuss about the correctness of the theory of otomata machine. The benefits of this research are expected to provide input in order to prove the truth of a study. From the results, some conclusions that prove the truth of the review.

Abstract

Applications are built can be used to classification search result documents and documents search easier. Documents that are only for the article from journal, thesis, ebook and other documents. Indexing and searching documents using Lucene as a search engine. An filing text document often needed for finding document that content special word or combination of some words. In this research, is made application that can save and retrieve text document, using java program language, db4O and Lucene Library. For efficient in saving, data stop word eliminated, and take account the existent of synonim words. In retrieving document it is possible using operator AND, OR and NOT with the number of words priority that exist in that document. The process of searching are divided into two, namely Simple Search and Advanced Search. Simple Search using a query to search Db4o while Advanced Search using the search terms in the index using Lucene library. In this system the test results obtained are accurate.

Abstract

Tofu industry is one of the people industries which are many in Pontianak. The existence of this industry causes a negative impact which is environmental pollution caused by tofu liquid waste. Tofu liquid waste is a kind of wastewater which is produced along with the making of tofu. The environmental pollution caused by tofu liquid waste can be overcome by giving the tofu liquid waste a treatment process before it’s being wasted to the environment. To make the treatment process easy, I desinged an automation control system for the tofu liquid waste treatment process. The controller is a microcontroller AT89S52 which is a cheap microcontroller and also easy-to-program. The assembly programming is used to program the microcontroller. The results showed 83,98 % of average reduction of Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) for treatment process in 3 days.

Abstract

Implementation of LAN Technologies Choices model using Top-Down Approach method in analyzing the application of wireless LAN network architecture shows that the use of wireless LAN architecture has more benefits with lower cost and higher speeds than dial-up technology . But the application still raises many issues, especially regarding the stability of the existing network system is still not smooth and often drop out (no connection), access speed decreases or tends to decline over time usage, the number of complaints from stakeholders are also increasing rapidly, internet access often unstable and can thus disrupt the smooth work. Therefore, the improvement and enhancement of information technology needs to be done on an ongoing basis to always to meet the needs of the market and understand the behavior of stakeholders in using Internet services. Always measure the performance of information technology for wireless LAN networks to align with business needs. Provide assurance or guarantee smoothness, reliability, and trust and satisfaction in using the technology offered.

Abstract

The first step to reach the E-commerce is to understand the environments in which trading would take place. Business Intelligence is an activity of gathering information about the environmental elements that interact with the company. E-commerce failure to achieve planned goals, because the understanding of the environmental conditions of trade faced by the company is not in accordance with E-commerce applications are implemented. This is due to the information collected can not provide a clear picture of environmental conditions. This study aims to describe the fields of information and categories that can be used as a starting point to describe the environmental conditions that affect the company globally. Global Business Intelligence System is used as a general framework, which can be developed according to specific company needs and objectives. In general, the system consists of six fields of information and 31 categories. The process of collecting information in this system using a Modus Scanning that has the characteristics of active and focused on the desired categories. Each information field with the categories that have described the different influences, both as a driving force, the power resistor, and by providing pressure to the company's business. Differences influence of environmental conditions provides an explanation of the level of preparedness organizations in the application of E-commerce, as a business strategy to gain competitive advantage.

Abstract

Information technology (IT), teknologi Internet pada khususnya telah membawa perubahan dalam praktik bisnis dan pemasaran, di mana hampir semua aktivitas dan praktik business, commerce, dan marketing dapat dijalankan secara elektronik. Hal ini terlihat pada istilah/kata seperti“electronic business (e-business)”,“electronic commerce (e-commerce), dan“electronic marketing (e-marketing)” yang artinya disiplin ilmu tersebut telah teraplikasi dalam information dan communication technology (ICT) dan telah dipraktikan secara elektronik. Meskipun demikian, sampai saat ini masih belum ada keseragaman dalam hal definisi dan konsep e-business, e-commerce, dan e-marketing bahkan terjadi tumpang tindih (overlap) satu sama lain dalam praktik. Selain dapat membentuk wawasan berpikir yang terfokus, konsep dan definisi yang tepat baik dalam pengertian luas maupun pengertian sempit akan memberi manfaat untuk menjustifikasi posisi diri kita sendiri baik dari aspek disiplin ilmu maunpun dalam praktik. Paper ini mereview literature dari berbagai sumber buku dan jurnal mengenai konsep dan definisi e-business, e-commerce, dan e-marketing yang tepat, dikatkan dengan penelitian ProfessorMeng dari Universitas Guan Dong berjudul“Study on Combining e-commerce and e-marketing” Mei 2010 yang sedikit banyak telah menginspirasi pembahasan paper ini dan sekaligus menjadikannya sebagai studi kasus paper ini.

Abstract

On this paper, we conducted research on the CV. Fajar Khatulistiwa Pontianak where there are obstacles in the sales of goods such as difficulty in finding goods data, customer data, the records are repeated due to recording errors or missing files. Besides the old reporting process because the data must be re-examined and cannot be generated immediately, it is this which causes slow reports must be submitted to the leadership. The method used in this research is descriptive method and data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentary studies. System development methodology used is Data Flow Diagram, Data Dictionary, Normalization, Databases and Tables Specification Entity Relationship Diagram. The results of this proposed prototype design using Visual Basic 6.0 programming language which can assist companies in dealing with inventory. Moreover, it can facilitate the sale and purchase of data storage, data storage sales returns and purchase and storage of data in or out goods.

Abstract

This paper was conducted to determine the factors influencing acceptance Accounting Inventory System applications approach using technology acceptance model (TAM) method. The factors such as Perceived usefulness, Perceived Ease of Use, Attitude Towards Behavior, Behavorial Intention to Use, Actual Technology Use and Demographic Factors. Dependent variable is the adoption application Inventory Accounting System, while the independent variables are Perceived usefulness (PU), Perceived Ease of Use (PEOU), Attitude Towards Behavior (ATU), Behavorial Intention to Use (BIU), Actual Technology Use (ATU), Demographic Factors (DFC). Analysis tool used is the Confirmatory Factors Analysis and Correlation Kendall Tau. Software used to help the writer to process the data is SPSS version 17 and AMOS. The conclusion of this research is the application of Accounting Inventory System application on Distrik Navigasi Divisi III Pontianak is now well received by employees who apply them, both individually and in groups. The advice can be given that it is better if not only on the stock and financial management using information technology, but all parts are there in the office, so that employee performance can be further increased.

Abstract

This system prototype displays a list of government data objects, buildings, projects, construction specifications, and recapitulation of building conditions in each city/regency server which provides URL service provider and service requestor. Web services technology enables the integration of application services from different systems that are at BPKAD Pontianak and Pontianak regency. The implementation of web service in data replication at server side will increase the speed when it is accessed. The research result of this web service is an appropriate infrastructure for the needs of data integration of buildings that are spread in each server of cities/regencies. The data integration which is built by using web service in the prototype data integration system can be used as a source of data and information to support the work of local government.
