சங்க இலக்கிய ஆற்றுப்படை நூல்களான திருமுருகாற்றுப்படை, சிறுபாணாற்றுப்படை, பெரும்பாணாற்றுப்படை, பொருநராற்றுப்படை, மலைபடுகடாம் ஆகிய ஐந்து ஆற்றுப்படை இலக்கியங்களில் காணலாகும் திருக்குறளின் கருத்துக்களை எடுத்தியம்புவதே இக்கட்டுரையின் நோக்கமாகும்.
