10 years of the Archaeology Museum of Tatarstan Republic of Institute of Archaeology named after A.Kh. Khalikov of Tatarstan Academy of Sciences

Abstract
The article is dedicated to the 10th anniversary of Archaeology Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan with the Institute of Archaeology named after A.Kh. Khalikov (Kazan). The issues of archaeological structures establishment in the territory of Tatarstan, the history of archaeological collections creation, the Museum formation and development are considered. The activities of the Archaeology Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan are characterized, including archaeological collections acquisition, classification and inventory verification; acquisition, cataloging and systematization of the Scientific Fund materials; office processing of field archaeological material, inclusion of the Institute of Archaeology collections in the Museum Fund of the Russian Federation. The principal archaeological collections and research funds of the Museum are considered; the results of its research and exhibition activity are presented, including participation in expositions of many other central and regional museums of the Republic of Tatarstan.
