A Case of Glycogen Storage Disease: A Case Report and Review of Literature

Abstract
Glycogen is the principal storage form of glucose in muscle and liver. Enzyme deficiencies lead to glycogen accumulation in liver, skeletal muscle, and heart. There are eleven subtypes of disease that are commonly included under the group of glycogen storage diseases. Here we report a case of glycogen storage disease in 7 year old male child.
